A Spring 2026 Refresh

Yes. It's been a minute and a half since I was here. All That Jazz is still going strong. It's evolved a bit as my style has evolved. I've added a few feet more of space since I last posted (5 years ago!) and the wall color has gone darker. I am still located in the Shady Lady in Centralia, Washington and love being there. We are like family and things continue to run smoothly. I'll share some recent photos so you can catch up.

Post Christmas Winter Refresh 2021!

It always feels so good to get the Christmas Merchandise packed away and give Jazz a good cleaning. however, no amount of cleaning can dispel all of the leftover glitter!

Until the Cows Come Home...

The cows have come back home to Jazz after the Christmas season. Each year I think I will retire the cows out to pasture but they are just so adorable I can't bear to do it.

So... onward and upward they go for another year...just like Jazz!

Long Time No See!

Gosh it's been forever and a day since I have posted. I have been posting on Facebook and Instagram but sort of got burnt out on blogging the last couple of years. I have a new computer, have figured out how to get my photos from my phone to my blog and have been itching to get back into blogging, so we will see how it goes. I just have to remember how to work my way around a blog, a few things have changed the last couple of years so it will be trial and error for a while. In the meantime, I am coming up on my 5 year anniversary of having All That Jazz at The Shady Lady and these are a few recent pictures.

I'm not sure if I will have many, if ANY people drop in to read this post, but it was fun to get back in the game!!!

Christmas 2017 at All That Jazz

Christmas at Jazz is always a big production. It takes me months to prepare and hours to set up.
The hard work is usually worth the results!

I do a mix of retail, repurposed and handmade at Christmastime. This is the time of year when I have the biggest supply of retail merchandise. I like to be able to offer my customers a wide variety of  items from home décor to gift items.

Thanks for stopping by!

and 17 months later...

A current corner of Jazz~

Oh yah. It's been 17 months since I posted. Since I now seem to take all my pictures with my phone, it was easier to load them to Facebook. I've tried creating posts on my phone but is just seems to be an epic fail. However I just figured out how to access my phones pics on my laptop so perhaps, just perhaps, I can get my rear in gear and post more here!

All That Jazz is still going strong. She continues to plug along. I am still in the same store, The Shady Lady, in Downtown Centralia. I moved there 2 years ago after my previous store closed.

I seem to have my seasonal themes down each year now. Spring and Summer are farmhouse and cottage style with a mix of painted furniture, French graphic themed items, cozy pillows and other home décor. My color theme tends to be neutral with pops of turquoise and green and I now do a mix of previously loved, repurposed and retail decor. This year I have been addicted to all things GRAY however!

Once Fall comes around I like to add COLOR, all the rich deep colors of Autumn.

In the world of retail, Christmas comes early, so by the end of October, beginning of November: OUT POPS XMAS! The xmas theme I tend to gravitate toward for my space is sort of a "Rustic Glamour". I love all things white and gold and silver with rustic woods thrown in. A bit of red will make it's way in too, because after all it's CHRISTMAS!

In January, after I pull my Christmas merchandise out, I stick with Winter neutrals. Come February/March it's back to farmhouse/cottage and turquoise!

Thanks for popping by!

Ready For Christmas at All That Jazz!

One drawback about doing retail is that you have to rush to get the Christmas merchandise out, what seems like earlier and earlier every year. I managed to get my booth all stocked for the holiday season last weekend. Now I can sit back , breathe and enjoy the Fall/Thanksgiving portion of the holidays!
