Do you think I missed my chance at being Vanna??
It seems like there is never enough time for us to get everything we want accomplished. We took a carload of treasures to All That Jazz. Of course, we ended up rearranging everything in our space and got so hungry we were trying to subsist on leftover Halloween candy until we could get lunch!
Then it was off to check out how the Silver Celebration church sale was going. It turns out the big hit of the weekend for us was not furniture, but old linens! The upstairs section of the church was filled with handmade goods from jewelry to handmade signs to little Christmas ornaments made from sheep's wool.
Food deprived as we were..... Jazz did end up looking pretty good in the end. We started to put out a few holiday and winter items, mixed in with the harvest goods (but we did take out Mr. Big Hairy Spider!)
I have to admit I'm a bit glad this little table hasn't sold because I love how it works and looks for displaying our goodies~
That zebra rug never fails it's job, it just pops no matter what we have on it!
I love little touches of moss and greenery amongst the creams, golds, rustic woods, and silvers.
Tara said this little girl was originally part of a pair, the other piece being a little boy that was playing a violin (hence her ears being covered!)
I had two frames I wanted to paint black but I had no black paint left. I used my chalkboard paint instead. Now they are chalkboard frames~ fun!!
They need to invent some chalk that is shaped at the tip like a pen- that one can actually write with! Or does anyone know where to find such a thing?
Who is this cutie?
My partner in crime! Tara and I work very well together, we creatively have much of the same vision yet are also just different enough to have a really nice balance. XoXo cuz!!
Last summer I gave her a half-finished project because I stalled with it, but I knew she could whip it into something fabulous. It was a big old funky painting. I was going to turn it into a chalkboard and I managed to get the frame primed but then gave up.
Here was Tara's vision instead~
I love what she did with it!
Scrabble tile words are so easy to place on a bookshelf, adding a personal touch!
I have a ton of random old frames that I have been putting Christmas quotes in.
Our space is work in progress.....but I think our handcrafted and found items keep getting closer and closer to representing the eclectic, charming style we love so much!
On that note, I want to end with a sign that makes a cute quote for the week~

Your space looks great Michelle! Very eye-catching. Isn't funny how when you start rearranging, everything gets moved around? When I had my shop, that's what would always happen. I think things looked so much cuter afterward though :)
I love everything you have in your space! You have a great eye...

It all looks great Michelle! You two are very talented and obviously work well together!! It's nice to have a junk partner in this business isn't it?!
I recently read on a blog about something called chalk pens. I haven't bought any or even seen them, but may be worth looking into!!
Hope you have a great week!

I just love your shop ladies!! If I lived closer, I would definitely be shopping there!! For now I'll just have to drool over all this fabulous eye candy... thanks for sharing!!
Have a great week!

You know what, we were so busy rushing around I didn't even see half the things you put in there, like that little quoted sign and your framed sleigh bells ring! What a cute idea. Forgot to tell you the chalkboard frames were too cute too. I am almost out of chalkboard paint and should get some more. I'll have to look more closely this weekend. I love that little piece in the center too, maybe we should price it really high so it doesn't sell!
Beautiful... all of it! I love the rustic pillows! xo
Your shop looks wonderful and wish I lived near.
Love the pillows and the lovely old scrubbing wash board.
Happy week
Hugs
