Peppermint Yummies

I get the urge to bake around the holidays. Now that I've caught up on some of my holiday decor (photos to come) I am ready to think about baking.

 ~Country Home's cookie & photo~

Last year I made these cookies to take home for Christmas. I figured my dad would love them as his two of his favorite treats are peppermint ice cream and chocolate. They were a hit!!

Here is the link to the recipe in from the Country Home website:

Now these dipped in a cold glass of milk......mmmmmmm!!!!

What is your favorite holiday treat to bake?

Oh that looks real yum...

Thanks for the recipe too.

Oh call me traditional but my son still asks for gingerbread cookies and chocolate chip cookies(even for Christmas)...

Those look yummy! I love just about any kind of cookie...

You asked about my sugared horses. I got the little horses at Michael's a few years back...painted them white. Let dry and then painted them with white elmer's glue and sugared them with diamond dust (also fron Michaels). Glued some ribbon on the back for a loop.

Hope you are having a great week!

I seriously need to get my bake on! These look yummy. I can't remember if I ate any of these last year or not. Will you be bringing any down with you this year? Your pictures look good enough to go in a food magazine.
Funny about our Christmas trees. Can't wait to see your tree.
