Then I saw this photo~
LOVE! Isn't that chippy blue great? It has so much character. I want to try to make my tray somewhat resemble this....and I might just have to keep it!
I saw the blue tray on Rozmeen's blog, Pastels and Whites. She is from the Netherlands. Be sure to check her out. She has beautiful taste and I think we'd have a lot of fun shopping together!
So far, I've just put a coat of primer on my tray. Now I need to find the perfect shade of blue paint. Any suggestions?
I will be sure to show you my version of the tray when it is finished! Just give me a few weeks...I've been a bit slow on completing my projects these days!

I love this color I have tons of pictures saved in this color. I want to paint some furniture this color but need to buy some furniture first!
I think you need to take a trip to the paint store. Matching up the paint is always the hardest because colors look different in different lights. I think it will be really pretty blue.
Oh, that will look terrific once you find the color. I just used Benjamin Moore 'Feather Gray' on my new Santos doll & a door (displayed in my dining room). It's a bluish-gray.
Looks like you enjoyed your bday celebration Michelle. What fun!
Take care,
Susan
I can't wait to see what you come up with. I know it will look great. I'll have to check out that blog :)
I love this idea! I have several brown pieces I want to paint...let us know which blue you find!

Michelle I just know you will find just the right blue to complete this project, and I look forward to seeing it finished.
