My Favorite Find Friday

After work today I stopped by a great store that was closed- I was disappointed as I've been wanting to visit this shop for a while. The sign on the door said, "We are on a buying trip." How cool! That is what I want to do! How about a buying weekend?? An hour here and there just isn't cutting it! It really takes time (and good shoes and lots of snacks) to go on buying sprees!

It is one of the things I love best about this little business~ the joy of finding those great treasures for All That Jazz. It is so unexpected, seeing that perfect item that matches the style you are going for. Truly, having a vendor space is the perfect thing remedy for someone who loves to shop! However, the downfall is I struggle with what to put in the shop and what to keep. Case in point~ this week I found a new treasure that should go in the shop, but is going to stay with me. For now.

I think this pottery jug (pitcher?) is handmade, as it is not marked on the bottom. I just loved it's rustic country feel, the blue stripes on the beige remind me a bit of a grain sack. For the photo I filled it with a bouquet of dried flowers that I'd got with another vase, but I hope to fill it with big bunches of dried lavender. Or the baby's breath I am drying out from my birthday bouquet. Or wild daisies this summer. I also think it would also make a good utensil holder!

A great find for $4.99!

Have a fun weekend everyone!

I love jugs Michelle...there is something about the shape that appeals to me...my favourite ones are all pale green, don't know what it is about the green but it catches my eye everytime.
Yours look very pretty filled with those flowers, but I think the lavender will look even better.

Michelle I could never let go of that pitcher had I found it for 4.99! I get to go to a little barn sale this weekend in Boise, and I am so excited. In June I am definitely going to go to Farm Chicks again. We have already booked our rooms. Now it's just saving for the trip so I can really shop (and pay for the gas.LOL!)
sending hugs your way...

I can't believe you got that pitcher for $4.99...it's so cute!

When I had my shop my very favorite part was going to market. I absolutely loved it, then when the UPS man delivered everything, it was better than Christmas.

It must be so much fun to shop for your space :-) I'd want to keep this vase too. I think I'd have trouble giving up any finds until I'd used them myself for awhile :-)
Have a wonderful week!

Marcia
