Coming Soon!

~Joie de Vivre ~
"Can be a joy of  conversation, joy of eating, joy of anything one might do…  joie de vivre may be seen as a joy of everything, a comprehensive joy, a philosophy of life."

 Somebody has been busy!

I have been making burlap pillows!!

The two pictured above I made for myself. I got the coffee bean sack at a yard sale a couple weeks ago. I have been wanting to tackle this pillow project and finally bit the burlap, so to speak. I was either going to sell the bag in the shop or do something with it, so I got out my scissors.

It wasn't scary at all!

I am having a lot of fun making these, and I think they are turning out pretty cute! The mini-pillows are perfect to toss on a kitchen bench, a wicker chair, or a bed.

In the coming weeks I will have photos of larger-sized pillows that will be available, too.
The pillows will be available in our vendor space starting August 28th, during the shop's Sidewalk Sale! Stay tuned for more details! You can find "All That Jazz Vintage" at The Painted Lady Vintage, 109 N Tower, Centralia, Washington.

Wishing you all "joie de vivre" this week!!

Those turned out soooo good. I love burlap anything.

About your comment...my hair was pricey. It ran me the same as a cut and color plus you have to buy the products. It's an Aveda spa so cha-ching. But I do really like it and I think it will save me time down the road. Time is money right??
