Summer So Far

Don't you just l~o~v~e summer? We live for the summer here in the Pacific Northwest! Well except for today....summer rain. A bummer for SeaFair and backyard BBQ's.

Summer seemed to arrive late this year.....but hasn't been short of fun, enjoying the outdoors our area has to offer. I put together this collage of photos I have taken of my summer so far.

As much as I am loving the sun and all the activities you can enjoy this time of year, the other day I got a feeling.

A little twinge of longing for orange crunchy leaves, crisp morning fog, my cozy boots, cable knit sweaters, twiggy branches in vases and white pumpkins.......

~I know. I'm nutty!~

Fall is my favorite season and I am always ready for it.

Until then....I'll take these last few days of summer and enjoy them to my summer heart's content!

I am definitely enjoying the summer . . . but have to say that fall is my absolute favorite as well - especially September here in the Northwest!! I try and keep it as open as possible!!

sooo glad you stopped by :) . . . liz

I am still longing for summer! I need all that hot weather to get me in the mood for fall. Fall is my favorite too, but for some reason I'm just not ready to let summer go yet. I am excited to decorate for fall though. I've got all sorts of ideas floating around in my head.

Love the mosaic, especially those two cute kids! And the Po-Po!

Hi Michelle,
Those are great pics. A great collage of all that is summer fun. I wasn't missing or ready for fall until you described it so perfectly. Now for some reason I'm kind of wanting a cute little scarf around my neck...some cozy socks and warm apple cider;)

Great collage Michelle! I am fed up with winter and need some sun to warm up these ol' bones...but I understand your love of autumn. The colours are always so beautiful.
